about 363 square miles and a population of around 16,000, Giles County

Pearisburg is located at the approximate
geographic center of Giles County, Virginia. It is located on a plateau
above the New River at the intersection of US Route 460 and State Route
100. Pearisburg is the County Seat of Giles County.
